Biography
Vikas Newatia is a strategic and solutions-focused leader with over 30 years of experience managing multiple markets and businesses across technical and business advisory, managed services, SaaS, software deployment and international financial-services clients, particularly in insurance. He has conceptualised, built and led successful businesses and helped companies establish a presence in India. His experience spans the Lloyd's and company markets in the United Kingdom, India, continental Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia. Vikas has held leadership positions at AgRisk, Towers Watson, XL Insurance, PwC and Alexander & Alexander, now Aon. He holds a postgraduate degree from Cass Business School, London and is a mathematics graduate from King's College London. He currently serves as South Asia Leader at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and is a former CEO of Intact India.
