Biography

Arundhati Ghoshal is a seasoned actuary with an impressive career spanning more than two decades across leading global insurance companies and consultancies. Her professional experience includes Aviva Life Insurance Company, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company, American Life Insurance Company in the United Kingdom, Legal & General Assurance Society, Pension Insurance Corporation, Prudential, Willis Towers Watson and MetLife Global Shared Services. Throughout her career, Arundhati has demonstrated expertise in leading large teams across valuation, capital management, risk management and product development. Her work has also included specialised consulting projects and active involvement in business-development initiatives. She established her own actuarial-services firm in the United Kingdom, providing tailored actuarial services to clients. Until January 2026, Arundhati served as the Appointed Actuary of CreditAccess Life Insurance Ltd., a niche insurer based in Bengaluru serving low-income and underserved segments of the Indian population. Arundhati holds a master's degree in Physics from IIT Bombay and a Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from City, University of London. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, United Kingdom.
