Biography
Anurag Rastogi is a qualified general insurance and health insurance actuary with nearly 37 years of experience across underwriting, claims, sales, actuarial work, profit-centre leadership, research, mergers and acquisitions, teaching and consulting in India and Afro-Asian markets. He began his career at National Insurance Company in 1988 and has worked at National Insurance Academy, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company and HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company. His leadership experience includes roles as Profit Centre Head, Researcher and Professor, Appointed Actuary, Head of Underwriting and Claims, and Chief Actuary and Chief Underwriting Officer, and he serves as Vice President of the Institute of Actuaries of India. He has also led actuarial, underwriting and claims workstreams in major M&A assignments and contributes to professional bodies, actuarial education, mentoring and insurance-market advisory.
