Ankit Nanda

Biography

Ankit Nanda, FSA, MAAA, FCA, is Manager of Actuarial Advisory Services at Optum India, where he leads a team supporting U.S. healthcare clients across trend analytics, commercial actuarial, government programs and health technology. He has around 13 years of U.S. health insurance experience spanning reinsurance, consulting, managed care and employer stop loss. Ankit serves as the Society of Actuaries' Representative to the International Actuarial Association Health Forum for 2026–2028 and holds committee roles with the American Academy of Actuaries, Society of Actuaries, Conference of Consulting Actuaries and Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. He won the IFoA Health and Care Big Pitch 2026. His work has appeared in the British Actuarial Journal, The Actuary, and SOA and AAA publications. He holds an M.S. in Mathematical Finance from Boston University.
